PCC holds Community Conversation in Stourport

Taking place at Areley Kings Village Hall on Wednesday 13 August, the recent Community Conversation was an opportunity for people to raise concerns with the PCC and senior officers from West Mercia Police around issues such as knife crime, anti-social behaviour, e-bikes and e-scooters, and police visibility.

Following the session, the PCC contacted the Chief Constable to make him aware of the community feeling, whilst calling for the force to deliver a cross-partnership action plan alongside the public.

The PCC is committed to using the powers available to him to work with the Chief Constable to ensure the hardworking policing team is set up to succeed, whilst acting on your calls to address your priorities.

Work is already happening and will continue at pace over the next six months when the PCC will return alongside members of the force to provide updates and review whether you feel progress has been made. The exact date for that meeting will be confirmed in due course and shared once known.
