🚔 Operation Laser

Officers carried out mobile speed checks on Oldham Road, Rochdale, on 16/08/2025 between 19:00 and 19:40 hours, during which a total of 63 vehicles were checked. One driver was caught driving at 40mph in a posted 30mph limit, and a Traffic Offence Report was issued.

On 17/08/2025, officers continued with roadside speed checks on Queensway, Bolton Road, Oldham Road, and Albert Royds Street. Over 100 vehicles were checked, and 11 drivers were found to be driving between 40-50mph in a posted 30mph speed limit. Traffic Offence Reports were issued.
