🚓🚨 Speed Monitoring – Neenton & Burwarton

Dear Resident,

Today we have conducted speed checks in the villages of Neenton and Burwarton, following concerns from local residents and as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting road safety.

In Neenton, over a 30-minute period, 40 vehicles were monitored—and encouragingly, every driver was travelling within the 30mph speed limit threshold. The average speed recorded was 22.7mph.

Whilst in Burwarton, over a 30-minute period, officers detected 30 vehicles. The average speed recorded was 25.6mph, comfortably within the 30mph limit threshold. No speeding offences were detected and no enforcement action was required.

These results reflect positively on local driving habits. Police thanked residents for their safe driving and emphasized that such checks are about encouraging responsible behaviour, not just issuing fines.
