🚨 Positive action in Eckington

Following a report from a concerned resident in Eckington about repeated incidents of children playing knock-a-door-run and banging on her doors/windows, our PCSOs took swift action.
The behaviour had understandably left the resident feeling frightened in her own home.

Thanks to the detailed description provided, PCSO Rawson and PCSO Dixon were able to identify the young people matching the description's whilst on foot patrol.

When approached, the young people were honest and admitted their involvement. With parents present, they were given appropriate words of advice and positive action was taken to ensure the behaviour doesn't continue.

This is a great example of how PCSOs are not only here to prevent and deter crime, but to detect it and support those who are affected.
