Burglary Appeal - Harrogate

Important Message – Please do not ignore

 

Police are investigating the following two incidents in your area that took place on the same morning:

 

- An attempt Burglary that occurred on 16/08/2025 at 02:50hrs on Wayside Crescent.

- A Burglary whereby a vehicle was then stolen that occurred on 16/08/2025 at 04:07hrs on Wayside Close.

 

 

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe? 

 

  • Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date? 
  • Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the burglary, or anything happening on the street before or after? 
  • Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

    Security Advice

     

  • Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.
  • Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.
  • Consider fitting a security light to the side of your property.
