🚔 Proactive Arrest

On 14/08/2025 officers from the P2 Neighbourhood Team intercepted a suspicious vehicle , The driver, known to police, failed to stop when requested, resulting in a brief pursuit through the local area.

The vehicle was brought to a halt on Constable Drive, where two male occupants exited and attempted to evade officers on foot, running through residential gardens. Both individuals were swiftly detained following a coordinated response.

One male was found in possession of a significant quantity of cannabis and has been arrested, interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries. The second male (driver), a disqualified driver with no valid insurance, was identified as having taken the vehicle without the owner’s consent. He has since been remanded into custody and sentenced to 18 weeks’ imprisonment. 

This incident highlights the continued efforts of neighbourhood policing teams to disrupt criminal activity and ensure community safety.
