🚨 One Day. Two Arrests. Zero Second Chances. 🚨

The Piccadilly Gardens team was on top form today.

First up – our Sergeant intercepted a drug driver brazenly trying to tailgate into a secure car park. One quick stop later, and they were off the roads before they could cause harm.

But the day didn’t end there. Hours later, officers tracked down a man wanted on recall to prison. No hiding place, no escape – he’s now exactly where he needs to be.

Two criminals caught. One city kept a little safer. All in a day’s work.

Sgt Jon Wyatt said: “This is a great example of how proactive policing keeps our city centre safe – tackling crime as it happens, turning offenders over like a spatula flips pancakes, and bringing them to justice quickly.”
