North Yorkshire Horizons is here to help you recover from drug and alcohol addiction. 

We offer a confidential, non-judgemental service to people, including families, affected by drugs and/or alcohol.

North Yorkshire Horizons is a drug and alcohol recovery service provided by Waythrough in partnership with Changing Lives and Spectrum CIC, on behalf of North Yorkshire County Council.

Our aim is to help as many people as possible to reduce their drug or alcohol use, or be free of it altogether. We want to reduce the harm that is caused by drugs and alcohol to people, families and communities across North Yorkshire. Our services are flexible and we design people’s support specifically to their own personal circumstances.

When you join the service, you’ll be given a key worker who will support you throughout your treatment and help you develop a Recovery Plan built around you and your circumstances. The recovery journey also draws upon our expertise in community and family work, residential rehabilitation, and employment support, where needed.

We work with people from the start of their recovery journey right through to completion. Then, our aftercare offer will help you to maintain the changes you have made, through activities and groups with likeminded people.
