Police and Crime Commissioner Community Action Fund - invitation for applications

Good morning all,

On the 1st of September, the Police and Crime Commissioner will open applications for grants from his Community Action Fund as below:

‘’The Community Action Fund is designed to provide targeted support to community and constituted groups through a series of themed grant rounds running throughout the year. Each round focuses exclusively on prevention initiatives that address one of our six prevention delivery strategies and will support community-led projects that aim to reduce harm and improve safety. Eligible groups can apply for grants up to £10,000 to support their initiatives.

This fund focuses on prevention, stopping problems before they start. By supporting local ideas, we can reduce crime, ease pressure on emergency services, and build safer, more connected communities. The best solutions come from those who live and work in these areas every day. With the right tools and support, communities can thrive.

Whether you’ve applied for funding before or this is your first time, the Community Action Fund offers a clearer, more targeted approach to making a real difference where it matters the most. Our funding rounds are focused on the key priorities set out in the Police and Crime Plan.''

Please find attached information on the fund and how groups can apply.

Kindest regards,

PC McKinnon
