Incident update / witness appeal - Gross indecency - St Andrews Park - 13/08/2025

Dear Residents.

I am writing to you to update you on an incident that occurred yesterday (13/08/2025) around 15:30 in the St Andrews Recreation Ground, Paddock Wood. Kent Police received a call regarding a male behaving inappropriately in the area of the Recreation Ground. As I was in the area, I quickly attended and arrested a suspect. Colleagues from the Local Policing Teams also arrived shortly after to assist.

Whilst evidence capture was completed at scene, we are appealing for witnesses to the incident. If you, or someone you know witnessed the incident, then I urge you to come forward to Kent Police so we can secure the best evidence to support a prosecution.

The suspect that was arrested has since been bailed with relevant conditions whilst Kent Police continue to investigate the matter.
