Short Update |

Short message this week as I am on annual leave, so will have to leave the rest of the team to look after you all. I have been busy with a professionals meeting to look after a vulnerable person on our area. The safer neighbourhood team aren’t just for crime fighting we will help wherever we can. Today I attended the KDYT (Kidderminster district youth trust) event in WOODBURY ROAD and we had lots of people attend, it was good to see you all. We had a few people trying on uniform but I think one look at how hot we looked put people off. But road safety quizzes and colouring was taken along with some ASB pencils. I also lost at UNO twice, to a frequent attendee to the events… you know who you are. But was a great event, thank you KDYT, keep up the good work. Also at the event was the Wellbeing and Emotional Support Team who assist CAMS. They were a great group who assist children with mental health and are based in most schools in the area. They were making “Worry Monsters” with the people, which looked great and doing some colouring in. For the rest of my time I have done lots of patrolling around the area, a bit to hot for my bike this week though. Be safe in the sun and I will be back on 21/08/2025. Again a reminder if you want to come and have a chat: Saturday 23/08/2025 13:00 to 15:00 hours - Britons park for security advice and bike marking Sunday 24/08/2025 – Walk and talk Silverwoods meeting at Costa at 12. The walk will be around an 45mins depending on amount of people attending. Come join for all or part.
