Thefts from Vehicles

Dear Resident,

Just to inform you that we had Four reports of Thefts from vehicles parked in Benefield Road & the drill hall car park and West Street ,Oundle Overnight Mon 11 /Tue 12.

2 x Theft of Power tools from vans

1 x Theft of Number Plates

1 x Break in to Vehicle

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
