Weekly Update

Dear Residents,

PCSO Gilkes here this is a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hillfield’s neighbourhood policing team.

What`s been happening:

We have conducted high visible patrols around your neighbourhood, aiming at the hot spots for anti-social behaviour, visits to events and carrying out parking enforcement operations.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:

Your local Neighbourhood team have been out and about engaging in the community.

Officers paid a visit to the pride event earlier in the set. This was a great atmosphere and a great turn out. We hope everyone involved had a great day.

Your local officers engaged with your local shops and residents to do reassurance visits. You may have noticed a leaflet that was pushed through your letterboxes during this week. This has your local teams email address on that you can contact us with any intelligence, and other useful information on the back.

You may have seen officers in different streets in your neighbourhood mainly on King William Street for parking enforcement. As you will now be aware there are double red lines down the street, this means it is prohibited to stop on these. This is a reminder that if you are visiting the shops on that street and any other streets with double red lines, do not park on them as tickets will be issued.

Officers also paid a visit to Positive Youth Foundation summer event. We took the big public order van to the youth club for the young people to enjoy. We also played a few games around online safety which the young people interacted well with. This was a great turn out and we hope everyone involved enjoyed their day.

ARRESTS:

This week your local officers made some great arrests this set. Altogether there were 8 arrests made regarding known offenders causing issues within the local neighbourhood this week.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK:

We have been receiving a high number of Anti-social behaviour reports in certain areas of Hillfields. Now we are having nice weather, can residents be mindful and respectful to other neighbours.

Officers have been out issuing CPWs (community protection warnings) to those causing anti-social behaviour in your neighbourhood.
