Burglary reported in Tamworth Road, Sutton Coldfield.

Dear Resident.

What has happened?

Between 10.30pm on the 11th of August, and 7.45am on the 12th of August 2025 unknown offenders have gained entry to a property on Tamworth Road , Sutton Coldfield via a front kitchen window.

Once inside, they have conducted a search which has resulted in them obtaining the keys to, two BMW motor vehicles kept at the property.

They have then left the location in the two stolen vehicles.

What are we doing?

The matter is under investigation, and officers have visited the location to assist with enquires.

What can you do?

During this hot weather it is understandable that windows are opened to allow some air into properties , especially during the evening when the air is a little cooler.

However please do not leave accessible windows open in unattended rooms, and always close and secure these windows overnight.

This will prevent opportunist thieves gaining access to insecure properties.
