Successful partnership working: Community Behaviour Order issued to repeat offender

Following extensive collaboration between The Metropolitan Police, the Safer Business Network, My Local Bobby and others, a successful application was made for a Community Behaviour Order which was issued to repeat offender Marco Madeo. 

Community Behaviour Orders aim to tackle criminality and antisocial behaviour. They can restrict offenders' movement around the city, effectively banning them from areas where they have had a negative impact on the community. Should the terms of the CBO be broken - in this case by entering Westminster without good reason - the subject of the order can be arrested and further action taken. 

Thanks to co-ordination from Westminster City Council's Neighbourhood Co-ordinator, the Met's ASB team and all involved in another successful outcome for residents and businesses.
