Brixton Live Facial Recognition Operation

Today officers from Lambeth Safer Neighbourhood Teams supported by Detectives from our Public Protection Unit and Emergency Response Teams conducted Brixton's first Live Facial Recognition operation. The operation was a great success with 17 arrests and 23 alerts. I would like to thank the community for showing their support today and engaging with our officers on the operation. We are committed to using every possible opportunity to make Brixton safer for our community.
