Appeal to trace car stolen and used in Derby shop theft

We are appealing for the public’s help in tracing a car that was stolen and then used in a shop theft in Derby.

A white Ford Fiesta was stolen overnight from a property in Ferrers Way, Allestree, between 3am and 7am on Thursday 7 August.

The same vehicle was then used in a shop theft at the ASDA Superstore in Arleston Lane, Sinfin, a short while later at about 7.40am.

Between the break-in and the shop theft, offenders have disguised the numberplate with tape, changing it from FN15NZX to read EN15NZX.

The vehicle also has two distinctive stickers in the rear window.

We have released a picture of the vehicle and are now appealing for anyone who has seen the car, or knows it’s whereabouts now, to please come forward and contact us.
