Good Afternoon, We have been made aware of some parking issues on Claremont Crescent , specifically around the legislation and enforcement of a H Bar .
H Bar road markings , also know as as Access protection markings , are white lines painted on the road in front of driveways or other vehicle access points to indicate that parking there may cause an obstruction. While they are not legally enforceable and don't reserve a parking space , they are generally respected by drivers as a reminder NOT to obstruct access. H Bars do not have to same legal standing as yellow lines or other parking restrictions and cannot be used to issue parking tickets. Whilst they are not enforceable, local authorities may use them as supporting evidence when dealing with obstructive parking. Please be considerate and respectful where you park your vehicle. | ||
