Proactive

Good Afternoon Residents,

This set of shifts there has been little to no over night crimes reported and therefore not needing us to follow up on any crimes.

Us on the Safer Neighbourhood team have taken this opportunity to be proactive and this set of shifts alone we have:

2 vehicles come to our attention for driving dangerously within our ward and resulted in us pulling them over and further offences come to light resulting in 2 vehicle seizures and drivers prosecuted for those offences.

In addition based on your local matters survey the majority of residents have raised the increase in drug related matters:

we executed a S.23 Misuse of drugs act warrant in which one MALE was arrested for drugs and offensive weapon, 

Another vehicle come to our attention within the ward and resulted in a police chase and decamp, the team apprehended those that decamped and all three occupants of the vehicle were found with large amount of drugs on them and in the vehicle and subsequently was arrested for possession with intent to supply, the investigation is still on going. 

and on a separate occasion a group of MALES sitting taking drugs in which was stop and search and was dealt with appropriately

This is all in a weeks work on top of our usual patrols of our ward.
