I can’t believe it’s a month since I sent out my first message as your local neighbourhood Inspector, it’s been a busy month for the team.

Thanks to your ongoing support, engagement and information sharing, we have:

-attended a number of community events throughout the town and shared advice on crime prevention, fraud awareness and road safety.

-obtained an Interim Slavery Trafficking Risk Order against an individual who has posed a significant risk to vulnerable adults within the town.

-obtained a Closure order of a residential property that was linked to significant anti-social behaviour (ASB),

-executed 2 warrants and recovered drugs, cash and weapons.

-safeguarded vulnerable young people through joint working with our exploitation team and arrested an individual for modern slavery and trafficking offences.

-carried out patrols in local hotspot areas, identified by the local community.

-created two multi-agency problem solving plans, to deal with community problems through collaboration.

I am keen to understand more about the issues that impact on you and your community. The results of the survey will be published on the NPT Website and we will update you with what action has been taken to help improve the situation.
