2x vehicles seized in 2 days!

Last week saw Beat Officers seize two vehicles linked to the Rural North Wards of Ashford.

Firstly, after engaging with Ashford Borough Council for Community Surveys in the Charing area, a vehicle was observed to be parked up at the side of the road without any insurance. That same vehicle was later seen driving through Ashford and was brought to a stop, with the driver attempting to run from the drivers seat. She soon returned once she realised her car was being recovered. The driver will be getting a Court date in due course for driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance.

The following day, whilst patrolling the area of Hothfield, Beat Officers located a vehicle in the layby at Hothfield Common. The vehicle was found to have had its tax expired 4 months ago and was again seized.
