Survey for PSPO area |
||
Please support a PSPO by completing this survey, using the QR code, in the attached poster, to help tackle ASB in the area.
Southwark Council is considering a Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) to help tackle behaviour that negatively impacts people living in, working in, or visiting the borough. A tool introduced in the Anti-social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014 which allows councils to place restrictions or requirements on activities in specified public places and helps tackle issues that cause nuisance, alarm, or distress. Based on evidence from the community we believe certain activities are causing ongoing problems in some of our open spaces including streets, town centres and parks. Introducing a PSPO will help Southwark Council, and the Metropolitan Police reduce antisocial behaviour for residents, businesses, and visitors in Southwark Southwark Council is committed to making our borough a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming place for everyone. | ||
