You may have noticed an increased police presence if you were out and about in Torpoint, Kingsand or Cawsand yesterday. Please be reassured, there is nothing to worry about. Officers from different workstreams, including a trained passive drugs dog, have been entering licensed premises to check for illegal substances as part of Op Pubs Against Drugs (or 'PAD'). Premises are selected at random to ensure everyone enjoys their night safely this summer. Thanks to all who stopped to chat with us, and to our licence holders for their co-operation.
