Community Action in Action:

Thanks to residents speaking up, we’ve already made real progress. Your reports about anti-social behaviour and drug activity near Avenue Road and Cambridge Road led to the removal of abandoned vehicles – and a clear drop in incidents.

You also highlighted that dense bushes and trees were giving offenders cover. We are now trying to work closely with local authorities to trim and clear these areas. Better visibility means safer streets for everyone.

We are aware there is still activity taking place in certain spots, especially late at night. We are actively working with partners to tackle these ongoing issues and make the area safer for all.
