Local Priorities Drug dealing/ drug use Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Hello Leytonstone Residents,
Today your local officers and with the help of the dog unit were part of a drug operation at Leyton and Leytonstone Tube Station, to combat the use of drugs. The police dogs were able to identify people carrying drugs with officers having 27 stop and searches and proactively preventing anti-social behaviour in a known drug hot spot zone.

We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it. We will keep you updated on our efforts to do this in your area, but if you have any concerns or evidence, it is important you report this as soon as possible.
