Reassurance Patrols in the NQ

Good Evening All, 

Earlier this evening I have been on foot patrol around the areas of the Northern Quarter that you, the community, have raised as serious concerns in regards to Anti-social behaviour. 

Now of course the ASB and criminality will occur at different times during the day, but getting ourselves out there and being visible will go a long way in deterring people from being in the area to commit offences.  This evening incidentally, everyone seemed to be behaving themselves apart from two street drinkers who were promptly reminded of the City Centre PSPO. 

Just to remind you all, our efforts won't stop there. I am continuing to arrange joint visits to ASB hotspots in the background. Stay tuned for updates. 

The areas visited this evening were:

Arndale car park, Church St Car Park, Arts & Crafts, William Fairburn way, Oak Street, High Street, New George Street, Edge Street, Coop Street and Eagle Street.
