There has recently been a burglary on Hedge Lane where entry was gained via the kitchen door being forced open as the lock hadn't engaged. An attempted burglary on Elmdale Road where the front communal door was forced open and the two male suspects disturbed who ran off. Plus an attempted burglary on The Grove where male suspects were seen to enter the rear garden via the garden gate and try the rear patio door before they were challenged by a neighbour and they drove off in a black car. Please be aware as many residents are taking advantage of the summer holidays to go away.
