Live Facial Recognition Operation - Leicester Square

Good afternoon all, 

 

I just wanted to update you as we held another LFR (Live Facial Recognition) operation yesterday again in Leicester Square and it was really successful with 4 arrests made. 

 

Arrests

  • Male adult who was wanted for failing to appear at court for common assault
  • Male adult and one of our top 10 nominals for recall to prison
  • Male adult for breach of tag, original offence sexual assault
  • Male adult for failing to appear at court for possession of an offensive weapon

    • Additionally we stopped 3 RSO’s (Registered Sex Offenders) who were found in breach of conditions and will be dealt with at a later date. 

     

    In 2 LFR operations this week in Leicester Square we have arrested 11 offenders!
