Catapult update - Paddock Wood

Dear Residents. 

I'm just writing a quick update to inform you of the progress being made over recent weeks in regard to the catapult incidents in Paddock Wood and the surrounding area. 

Yesterday during the late afternoon/early evening Kent Police received 3 calls regarding youths shooting catapults in Paddock Wood. Whilst I was not on duty at this point to attend, I followed up on these this morning first thing and thanks to some good footage sent in to me, we identified 2 individuals. They have both been issued with Acceptable Behaviour Agreement's (ABA) this morning by myself and their parents have been informed. 

This brings the total number of individuals identified engaging in these incidents within the area to 9. 7 of which have been issued with ABA's by myself or the Child Centred Policing Team, with the others planned in for the near future.

999 - Emergency/Crime in progress.

101 - Non-emergency.
