Improper road users targeted in road traffic operation

🚔🚔 Neighbourhood Policing Team 2 - Inspector Pickavance 🚔🚔 North

Over the last two days, despite the terrible weather, team 2 have been assisted by forcewide resources targeting improper road users.  The areas covered are Harpurhey, Moston, Monsall, Blackley and Charlestown Road with targeting mainly off road and electric bikes.  We have seized a number of electric bikes and prosecuted the users.  We will continue to target these offenders and reduce the harm and risk they pose to themselves and members of the public.
