Local Priorities Violence against women and girls Message

I wanted to provide an update regarding Violence against women and girls, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Today the Heston East Safer Neighbourhood Team have been out in Lampton Park engaging with Visitors in the Park about safety in the Park and feelings of safety while in the Park. After speaking to them it was stated that people would like to see more Cycle Patrols or Foot Patrols around the area in the next few months during the Summer. When speaking a number of Females and Young Girls stated they felt afraid sometimes when in the park alone and have been approached by Eastern European men about 25 - 30 years old. Due to this if you see anything that you want to report please call 101 or in an emergency call 999 or when you get in send details to the Local Safer Neighbourhood Team for the Lampton Park at.
