Community protection notice success.

Tuesday 08/07/2025 on Weston Street, SE1 officers carrying out late night patrols; arrested a male for breach of his community protection notice linked to shoplifting and other anti social behaviour served to him by us, your local police team on a previous date; which had the simple condition not to enter the ward of London Bridge and West Bermondsey unless arranged appointments etc. So clearly had breached this and was also found in possession of drugs paraphernalia which is another breach of his community protection notice. Once arrested he got aggressive and continually shouted and swore which caused further alarm to members of the public therefore further arrested for public order. We will continue to use these anti social behaviour warnings against persons impacting the local community which can lead to a stage where arrests can potentially be the outcome to curtail such behaviour and make offenders think twice about being anti social and committing further criminal offences in our area.
