Community Speed Watch - All Out Day 11/07/2025

Hello All

Yesterday saw the National Community Speed Watch, "All Out Day", which is one of the campaigns, to get as many Community Speed Watch Groups out on the streets to conduct speed checks.

PCSO Hunt went and joined Middleton by Wirksworth's group - all be it a little warm - we managed to find a shady spot to complete the checks.

From over 200 vehicles checked at least 5 were caught driving over the 30mph limit in the space of an hour. These vehicles will be reported back to CREST and either an advisory letter will be sent out or you will receive a visit from one of our lovely Officers.

PCSO Hunt is hoping to join the Wirksworth and Cromford Teams on their next outings too.

Thanks, PCSO Kirsty Hunt
