Met Engage

Dear Wimbledon Park residents,

Over the last couple of days the team have been busy patrolling the ward whilst giving crime prevention advice in regards to a Theft from Motor Vehicle that occurred overnight on MOUNT ROAD between 1800 hours on 6/7/25 and 0600 hours on 7/7/2025. The team were also flagged down in LUCIEN ROAD to a vehicle unattended with the driver door left open, fortunately the owner was found and nothing was taken from within the vehicle and it was an accident that the door hadn't closed fully .

Despite the heat the team have also been canvassing STROUD ROAD in regards to signing up more residents to Met Engage, so if you live in STROUD ROAD your neighbour might mention they have had a Met Engage card through the door, that was from us! Welcome to those new residents that have recently been added. Every house on STROUD ROAD has now been knocked at and either the resident spoken too or they have had a card left explaining about it. More roads will be canvassed soon to increase the number of residents signed up to receive our alerts

We hold monthly ‘cuppa with a copper’ meetings in the Cafe in Wimbledon Park to give residents the chance to come and speak to us if they wish to, we will send some dates out for the upcoming months soon as well as a bike marking event hopefully in the summer.

Kind regards

Wimbledon Park Policing Team
