Happy National Community Speed Watch Day!

Today is National Community Speed Watch Day. Community Speed Watch (CSW) is carried out by volunteers in the local community, who use speed monitoring equipment to assess the speeds of passing traffic at specified locations in their neighbourhood. To show our support, we braved the sun and were out with the speed gun monitoring some of our local roads around Wootton Wawen and Claverdon. This data gets fed back into the Central Recording System and helps provide a more accurate picture around speed compliance. We know this is a passionate topic for many residence and will try to pop up throughout the area whenever we get the opportunity between our other commitments.
