Resident Hi all I hope you are keeping well and shaded from this red hot heat, while it is red hot we couldn’t stop conducting high vis patrols around the Fordbridge area to prevent crime rates in the area and reassure the local in the community. Around the area there has been a small amount of crimes occurred over the week.
Local crimes over the last week On 5th there was a criminal damage to property on COOKS LANE On 8th there was a interference with motor vehicle on COOKS LANE On 8th criminal damage to a motor vehicle on PUTNEY WALK On 9th criminal damage to a motor vehicle on HEATHERMERE DRIVE On 10th theft of vehicle on KINGTON GARDENS

TOWN CENTRE UPDATES
During this set, we’ve had a shop theft in Poundland in the town centre. Our officers were quick to respond to the location and the male was swiftly detained for shoplifting, as well as assaulting police officers. The offender was charged and will stay in custody until the investigation has been completed.
We’ve also had a number of instances of ASB at McDonald’s, however, the nominals were reminded of the Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) in place, and were quickly dispersed. We are continuing to crack down on ASB taking place in the town centre by reminding trouble causers that there is a PSPO in place and there will be fines issued for anybody causing trouble.
Don’t forget, PC SPOOR and PCSO AHMED are holding a cuppa with a copper at Lily’s Tea Parlour in the town centre on the 17th of July 2025 between 12PM – 2PM – feel free to come by and meet your town centre’s designated officers.
