Glossop SNT - School Engagement/Input
PCSO Buller from the Glossop YET (Youth Engagement Team) attended St Mary's CVA School, Gladstone St, Glossop, yesterday morning - Friday 11th July.
Glossop YET had been invited by the school to complete an input with their year 6 students on 'Good Choice/Bad Choice - all about Anti-Social Behaviour & Crime.
🗣️ We discussed the following with the students 🔷 What is a Crime? 🔷 What is Anti Social Behaviour? 🔷 Examples of ASB 🔷 Why might someone commit ASB/Crime? 🔷 Excuses? 🔷 Why do we need laws? 🔷 Age of Criminal Responsibility! 🔷 How do victims feel and how is the communitry affected? 🔷 Types of crimes! 🔷 Speak Out - Using Fearless.org (100% anonymous on line reporting tool, specifically designed for young people).
Thank you to the headteacher and staff from the school for accommodating our visit yesterday - and a very big thank you to all of the year 6 students who were involved and took part in our input.
