One of the main questions, we get asked is what is the difference between our Safer Neighbour Teams and other departments within the force?

Other departments will have specialist teams for example Response is focused on 24/7 policing so we can always be there if you need emergency assistance.

Other teams will be highly skilled detectives to manage for example criminal investigations, domestic abuse, human trafficking and exploitation cases. The list is vast across the force.

Each department will each have a very important role to play.

The Safer Neighbourhood Team is designed deliver high visibility patrols and create problem solving plans across towns and villages. We are there to prevent and deter Anti-Social Behaviour.

We also regularly patrol, conduct operations, licensing visits and warrants.

To help assist us. We will use intelligence to help us gather and identify certain issues that are brewing and we will be around to then to prevent further issues from developing.

We will safeguard vulnerable people in our local areas and we conduct many different visits to schools, residential homes, we are that person who will listen to your concerns and try to help the best we can.

We work with other partner agencies to assist us these include local authorities, community safety partnerships, Neighbourhood watch, the Warwickshire Road Safety Partnership and many more.

Most importantly we need you, the community to report in any concerns to us so we can take action.

Any concerns you have please contact us via 101, or you can use our online Warwickshire Police Online Reporting service and in emergencies 999. The link is below.
