Water safety

We recently have had reports of children jumping off the footbridge in Tickton, despite there being signage on the bridge not to do so. We have addressed the dangers in schools, and sent out previous alert messages. The water is not clean, as oil and depositories from the boats contaminate it,  as do rats. There have been fatalities in other areas and it is important that parents educate their children regarding the dangers. Please, enjoy the sun but keep safe !
