Invite to Ride along with Police

Thank you so much for joining Met Engage. We have a great community spirit within Hillingdon and I know many of you are really interested in policing and what we do.  I would like to invite you to join us on a ride along or walk along with local officers. This will give you a chance to see how we police, what sort of calls we get and might also be really useful if you are thinking of joining any police service in the future. 

You can join officers in Hillingdon from the following units:

Ride along: Emergency Policing Response Team-These officers take emergency calls such as assaults or burglaries in progress and you will join them in a response vehicle.

Walk along:  Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT)-These officers patrol on foot and work with the local community and partners to prevent and reduce crime and disorder.
