Attempted Aggravated Burglary & Possession of an Offensive Weapon |

Dear Resident,
Police were called on the 08/07/2025 at 23:00 hours to CONNINGTON HOUSE on the CAMBRIDGE ESTATE, report of Two males wearing black clothing and balaclavas seen acting suspiciously hanging around the communal area, then seen going to FORDHAM HOUSE where both males were seen looking through windows and attempted to open before realising, they could not gain entry. Then males continue to each flat door and activity doors as well as windows and could not gain entry.
Police arrived on scene whereby a foot chase was in progress and both suspects were detained by officers on HAWKS ROAD. Dog unit arrived on scene and recovered a LARGE RAMBO KNIFE discarded by one of the suspect/s. Both suspect/s arrested and taken to police custody.
