Two people charged after £125k-worth of drugs seized in warrants

Two people have been charged with drug supply offences after we found more than £125,000-worth of drugs in Stoke-on-Trent.

Peter Nwankwo, 49, of Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

Lamin Jallow, 45, of West Lothian, Scotland, has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime teams searched two homes in Basford and Hanley on Monday (7 July). A large amount of heroin, crack, MDMA, cocaine, cannabis and other drugs were found, along with £25,000 in cash.

Both men are due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Wednesday 9 July).
