Two illegal electric motorbikes were seized and the riders reported for road traffic offences on Sunday in Hindley.

The incident occurred after patrols who were engaged in OP Hurricane in unmarked police vehicles first sighted a group of illegal motorbikes on Haigh Road in Aspull.

A search of the surrounding area led to two illegal electric motorbikes being stopped in Hindley where the riders were reported for road traffic offences and the bikes being seized!

Op Hurricane continues to target illegal motorbike use.
