Off Road Bikes - school visit

Last week PC Sharp and PC Kidney visited Marshland Primary in Moorends to talk with pupils about the dangers and laws around using off-road bikes and e-scooters on public roads.

This followed an incident the day before where two children who were riding an e-scooter along Marshland Road were in a collision with a motor vehicle.

The session also focused on road safety and the very real risks that these vehicles pose when used inappropriately.

We ended with a quiz to see who'd been paying attention - turns out some of the pupils were future traffic officers in the making, while others were clearly just in it for the glory… and maybe the reflective wristband!
