Theft of Pedal Cycle from bike rack secured with two locks

Dear Resident,

The following theft of Pedal cycle was committed and reported to police on Monday 7th July 2025 

Whilst victim was working in the daytime they secured and locked their bike with two heavy duty locks at the bike racks next to the KFC opposite the furniture shop on High Street New Malden, when victim returned they noticed bike had been stolen by unknown persons who possibly use a tool to cut through padlocks.

 

Bike stolen was a Silver and Black bike in XS size, Canyon branding and several bike bags, it has a very unusual double handlebar. The bike has electric gearing by Shimano

Register your frame number on a national bike registration database approved by Secured by Design. The frame number is usually found underneath the bike between the pedals or where the back wheel slots in. If your bike is ever stolen and recovered by the police, it can be traced back to you.
