High Visibility Patrols by Police, Middlesbrough Council & Hemlington Angling Club.

Good Evening All. 

Tonight PCSO Johnson & PCSO Severs carried out anti-social behaviour patrol which was conducted in partnership between Middlesbrough Council, Cleveland Police and Hemlington Angling Club. 

Tonight's patrol proved highly successful in addressing community concerns around the lake and surroundings. 

The joint operation focussed on tackling issues such as illegal fishing, littering and disruptive behaviour which has been raised by local residents and anglers. 

Officers from the council and police worked closely with angling club members to engage with the public whilst the angling club staff concentrated on the angling rules & relevant bylaws. 

Several areas around the lake were cleared of litter helping to restore the lakes appeal. 

This collaborative effort not only deterred anti- social behaviour activity but strengthened relationships between the local community, reinforcing a shared commitment to protecting the environment and ensuring public spaces remain welcoming for all.
