Witness appeal following assault - Bracknell

Hello Resident,
 

We are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Bracknell.
 

Between 8pm and 8.15pm yesterday (1/7), a man in his forties was threatened by a man holding a bladed weapon on the footpath between Nando’s and Blue’s Smokehouse at the Lexicon. The victim was punched numerous times and sustained an injury to his arm. 

The suspect is described as white, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, with brown medium-length hair which was slicked back. He was wearing blue denim shorts and no shirt, however he did use a black t-shirt to cover his face during some of the incident. 
 

We would like to hear from anybody who saw what happened or saw a man matching the description of the suspect in the area at the time.
