Canal Barge Broken Into Handsacre

Dear All

Police have been notified of unknown person/s causing damage to a canal barge, moored near to bridge 57 Tuppenhurst Lane area. Offender/s have approached the barge and caused damage to the locks, cut the rope securing it and stole items, making good their escape. This has happened twice between the 25th June - 01st July 2025.  If anyone has any information relating to this incident please contact Staffs Police on 101 or via our website www.staffordshire.police.uk quoting serial 467  01/07/2025.
