πŸš—πŸ” Vehicle Theft Alert – Wolverhampton

Throughout June, we've seen a rise in vehicle thefts across Wolverhampton. Of the 45 vehicles reported stolen:

  • 16 were motorbikes, particularly Honda and Yamaha models
  • 9 were Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles
  • 8 were Nissan Jukes
  • These incidents are happening across the city. We're urging residents to stay vigilant and follow these crime prevention tips:

βœ… Always lock your vehicle and check that windows and doors are secure β€” even when parked on driveways or in garages βœ… Park in well-lit, overlooked areas when possible βœ… Use additional security such as a steering wheel lock, wheel clamp, or driveway bollard βœ… Fit a tracker or install a quality alarm system βœ… Store keyless entry fobs in a signal-blocking pouch and keep keys out of sight βœ… Consider installing home CCTV or motion-sensor lighting βœ… Report anything suspicious in your area β€” even small details can help prevent crime

πŸ“ž To report a crime or suspicious activity:

  • Call 999 in an emergency
  • Call 101 for non-emergencies
  • Or contact Crimestoppers anonymously at 0800 555 111 or visit crimestoppers-uk.org
  •

Let’s all take a few extra minutes to keep our property safe and help reduce vehicle crime across Wolverhampton. πŸš“πŸ›‘οΈ

    Many thanks
