A man has been jailed after officers found more than £15,000 in cash in a house in Burton-on-Trent. Rory Hall, 33, from the town, was sentenced to two-years-and-eight-months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday (26 June). He pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis between 5 March 2022 and 1 April 2022, and possession of criminal property at an earlier hearing. On 31 March 2022, officers linked a mobile phone number believed to be involved the supply of cocaine to Hall. When they searched his home address in Burton-on-Trent they found mobile phones and £15,560 in cash, including £940 inside a Manchester United mug and £12,785 in a blue suitcase. We’re continuing to tackle organised crime as part of our Operation Target commitment.
